Spring forum #3 - Dunedin

The 2016 South Island forum in Dunedin took off in fine form on Monday 21st November 2016 and lucky for us the weather was particularly warm and gave much excitement for the upcoming summer. Following the earth quake in Kaikoura, the south island workforce came from Christchurch, Invercargill and Dunedin to participate. Te Roopu Tautoko ki te tonga, the dedicated Māori gambling harm service in Dunedin welcomed participants with some true southern hospitality. Spring Forum #2 - Palmerston North

The theme for this series of spring regional trainings are “Connections” and we were able to connect with service providers located in the lower north island on Wednesday 16th November despite everyone dealing with post-earth quake tremors and serious flooding. We had a few cancellations however the pioneering spirit of all who attended meant we were able to continue with the day-long programme as planned. Regional Training Forums Presentations

The winter round of regional training forums concluded with an awesome two days in Porirua. We are currently editing a range of videos from the trainings which will be made available soon. Regional training forums

May and June have been busy for NCS with three out of our four regional training forums being completed. This week the South Island forum was held in Christchurch, and next week completes this round of forums with our last training in Porirua. Each two-day forum was unique with a mixture of national and local presentations and workforce development workshops.
